Maintenance

CLEANING

All foliage can benefit from a light spray or mist removing dust and helping the plant absorb light.

DEADHEADING

Deadheading removes the flower and developing seeds redirecting a plant’s energy into foliage, root growth and reblooming.

IRRIGATION INSPECTION

Inspect moisture levels and adjust the irrigation system accordingly. Provide fertilizer as required, approx. 2x/month.

NUTRIENTS

A balanced water soluble fertilizer should be added to the tank every three months.

PINCHING & PRUNING

Pinching is done to make plants branch out and become fuller and bushier. Pruning reduces excessive growth and help shape plants.

PLANT REPLACEMENT

If necessary, plants should be replaced with a similar type and quality as the original.

PREVENTING ISSUES

A maintenance provider or local nursery can advise in an unlikely event that plants encounter pests or disease.

SHEARING

Shearing is the non-selective removal of large areas of plant material.
